Supporting the Growth of 1/8 Offroad Racing in Australia
The RCRA 1/8 Offroad Committee is responsible for the governance, development and ongoing administration of 1/8 scale offroad racing throughout Australia. Working on behalf of clubs, competitors and officials, the committee provides leadership and direction to ensure the sport continues to grow in a fair, safe and sustainable manner.
The committee is made up of dedicated volunteers who contribute their time and experience to support the racing community. Members work collaboratively to oversee national events, maintain policies and procedures, coordinate championship programs, and provide guidance to affiliated clubs across the country.
Responsibilities of the Committee
The committee’s responsibilities include:
- Administration and governance of RCRA 1/8 Offroad Australia.
- Development and maintenance of the Rules and Constitution.
- Coordination and sanctioning of National Championship events.
- Support and liaison with affiliated clubs and event organisers.
- Promotion and growth of participation in the sport.
- Management of national rankings, event standards and competition regulations.
- Oversight of safety, sportsmanship and fair competition.
- Strategic planning for the future development of 1/8 Offroad racing in Australia.
